Sashiko needles are designed for Sashiko stitching, with sharp points that pass smoothly through fabric.

Different needle lengths are useful for different styles of stitching. Shorter needles can be easier to handle and are suitable for curved lines or shorter stitches, while longer needles allow multiple stitches to be loaded onto the needle and are useful for stitching longer, straight lines.
